Welcome to the Township of The North Shore, a picturesque area located in Northern Ontario.  Our residents are both friendly and welcoming.  The North Shore is a great place to live and to visit, with fresh air, pristine lakes and open spaces.

NOTICE TO ALL WATER USERS

At its meeting on December 14th, 2011, the township of The North Shore municipal council passed a resolution setting the new water rates for 2012.  Please note that the new costs per unit will be the following:

  • A 3% discount will apply on current charges only.  
  • Interest on overdue accounts shall be calculated at the rate of 2% per month.
  • Annual water rates paid in full before March 31st of the current year shall receive a 5% discount.
